2nd Annual Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration Declared a Huge Success!

Ellenville, NY – Spending the day at the 2nd Annual Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration at Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa in Ellenville, NY proved to be a popular choice for the more than 300 people that attended.
“I was overwhelmed by the turnout”, said Julian Lee, General Manager of Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa.  “Our goal was to provide the community with a complete Mother’s Day experience and I would have to say we succeeded.  I don’t know how many times I heard someone say “this year’s festival has something for everyone.”
With almost double the amount of vendors and entertainment at this year’s festival, those who attended were treated to a vast array of one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts, keepsakes and gourmet condiments not to mention a phenomenal line-up of magic, music and dancing.
According to Wendy Lupinski-Beck, Marketing Coordinator for the resort, “This event couldn’t have been as successful as it was without the many talented vendors and entertainers that showcased their products and their abilities.”
Festival goers were presented with an extraordinary opportunity to enjoy live entertainment absolutely free!  This year’s line-up included:  4 Reasons Unknown, the Crispell Rock Jam, Smalling School of the Arts and Illusionist David Garrity.
In addition, avid photographers have already started sending in their entries for this year’s photo contest.  “Last year’s entries were amazing” stated the resort’s Facebook Administrator.  “It’s always exciting to be able to see the resort from our guest’s point of view.”
For those interested in submitting their photos, the deadline for entries is May 27th.  Official entry rules can be found on the resort’s website at www.honorshaven.com
The 2nd Annual Tulip Festival & Mother’s Day Celebration started and ended  with warm weather and sunny skies, and even though the tulips were absent this year, thanks to Mother Nature, there was no absence of enthusiasm or joy.
If you missed this year’s festival, don’t worry.  Plans are already underway for next year’s event.
