an age-old training involving a careful series of movements designed to work on the entire body in a flowing sequence, creating a type of meditation in motion. There is plenty of scientific evidence that these mind/body practices have tremendous value in treating and preventing a variety of health problems. While the practice of Tai Chi is of benefit to everyone, regardless of their current health or physical condition, Qigong takes things a step further, focusing in on one or more precise movements that can be used for a specific situation or health issue.
