Fight the Good Fight at Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa

Boxing, it often conjures up images of swollen eyes, bloody noses and a smoke filled arena overtaken by the deafening chants of an emotionally charged crowd rooting for the underdog.  The excitement is enough to trigger fantasies of athletic prowess in the best of us, minus the swollen eyes and bloody noses of course.
Now, thanks to Gleason’s Gym, you and your friends can fulfill that fantasy by attending the 2012 Fantasy Boxing Camp, August 23-26, 2012 at Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa.
During this 4-Day/3-Night event, registrants will be provided with the opportunity to train with world-class trainers, Hall of Fame boxers and World Champions; both past and present.  Professional and amateur sparring partners will also be on hand to assist you with your training.

Also included in this one-of-a-kind fantasy camp are intensive boxing discussions, sparring sessions, and training drills.  At the conclusion of the weekend, registrants will have the chance to engage in the Fantasy Camp Sparring Show, where they can showcase their strength, reflexes and endurance as well as their new fantasy camp skills.
“The Fantasy Boxing Camp is a once in a lifetime experience”, says Bruce Silverglade, President of Gleason’s Gym. “The camp is an exact replica of what the Champions of yesterday went through to become the legends of today.”
Gleason’s Gym, one of New York City’s last thriving boxing gyms has been the training headquarters for legends such as Jake LaMotta, Muhammad Ali and Robert Duran.  In all, 131 World Champions have trained at Gleason’s Gym.
